GWINLLAN CONWY
Fe blannwyd 300 gwinwydden yn 2012 yn Llangystennin ger Llandudno, ar arfordir Gogledd Cymru, heddiw mae dros 3000 wedi eu plannu ar draws 3 erw.
Cynhyrchwyd y gwinoedd cyntaf gan ddefnyddio grawnwin yn hoff o hinsawdd oer i weddu tywydd Gogledd Cymru, maent erbyn hyn yn cynhyrchu mathau mwy traddodiadol fel Pinot Noir a Chardonnay.
Planted in 2012, at Llangystennin close to Llandudno on the North Wales coast, the Gwinllan Conwy Vineyard began with 300 vines but now extends to 3000 vines over 3 acres.
The first wines were made using cool climate grape varieties to best fit the North Wales weather but the vineyard now has traditional varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
