TOMOS & LILFORD
Tomos & Lilford is situated on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, with its locally grown hay, strawberries, rosemary or honey; seaweed foraged from the beach, inspiration all around. Each beer Tomos and Lilford produce has something of this wonderful place about it.
Though today it's run by Rob, Tomos & Lilford was begun in 2013, by Rolant Tomos and brothers, Rob and Jim Lilford and came about through a love of brewing beer that evoked feelings of convivial, happy times, family gatherings with the unmistakeable, warm smell of Dad’s kitchen home brew; wild plantscrushed underfoot on big Sunday walks.
The brewery started up in a shipping container held together with crocodile clips and a lot of love. Today the love remains, but they're an eight-barrel outfit supplying retailers of all shapes and sizes, restaurants, bars and festivals throughout the UK. They brew the signature beers for some of Wales’s most loved places and people including Wrights Food Emporium, the Scarlets rugby team and St Fagan’s, the National Museum of History.
Beer tells a story, tugs our heartstrings a little. That’s really what Tomos and Lilford are about - for you to sit down and take a sip and be transported somewhere surprising. Somewhere that brings a smile to your face.
