MALBEC
Most associated with Argentinian wines, Malbec is a damsony grape that was originally from Bordeaux in France.
Dark coloured with thick skins and high tannins, they need a lot of heat and sun to mature. They are one of only six grape varieties that can be used in red Bordeaux wines and add complexity to blended wines.
