GEWURTZTRAMINER

An aromatic, intensely floral grape that grows best in cooler climates such as mid-Europe, Argentina and the USA, Gewurtztraminer is a mutation of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

It works well in young wines and the grapes have a high natural sugar content. The dominant bouquet is of lychees, but there are also strong notes of roses, grapefruit and tangerine. Gewutrztraminers go well with Indian and Moroccan food.
