CHENIN BLANC
A white wine grape from the Loire Valley in France, due to its high acidity it is used primarily to produce sparkling wines and dessert wines.
It is widely planted in South Africa and was one of the first grapes to be grown there. In France, less ripened grapes are used to make Cremant de Loire sparkling wines.
The grape has notes of quince, apples and pears, honey and chamomile and goes very well with Thai food.
