Ribeiro Santo is a small, private estate in the heart of Portugal – going towards the mountains, 100 miles south-east of Oporto. Local grape varieties are used, but, unusually, this wine has no oak ageing, and this preserves the freshness, the spice and the pure red and black fruit flavours.
