From the tiny appellation of Maury in the very south, made entirely from Grenache, an intense wine bursting with fruit alcohol and sweetness all wrapped up in soft tannins. Made from low-yielding old vines. Powerful aromas of blackberry fresh fig and spice followed by vanilla and liquorice. Rich palate and an impressive fruit laden finish. Ready to drink now but will also develop further for many years. A sweet red that is the ideal dessert wine for chocolate or cheeses.
