Sister cheese to Celtic Promise, a Caerphilly based washed-rind cheese with a soft, buttery centre and a wrinkled, slightly pink rind. Saval is slightly gentler in taste than Celtic Promise and is available in wedges or whole wheels. Perfect eaten as part of a cheese plate with some crackers and a slice of apple!
